Erika Backberg, NBC-HWC, founded Mo Mo Monocle to serve as the unofficial Chief Well-Being Officer of the planet. She works privately with high-achieving disruptors curious about thriving.
While many of the leaders Erika partners with are founders and executives, regenerative leadership is not defined solely by hierarchy. It lives wherever responsibility meets consequence — in organizations, in families, in bodies navigating transition.
Leadership is a Relationship to Responsibility.
With cultural humility, and as a trauma-informed practioner, Erika provides one-on-one advisory and coaching services centering healing-justice, regenerative, and functional + ancestral health practices. Erika supports each leader through a bespoke co-creation process to improve their overall health, brainstorming stronger solutions to work and life challenges, and designing completely individualized systems that are invigorating, not enervating.
Erika’s Leadership Experience
From a BIPOC, queer woman trying to break the glass celing as the Chief Impact Officer in the corporate world to an Executive Director navigating challenging boards, from the politics of the Hollywood TV industry, to burnout as a federal capital defense qualitative researcher, to empowering the inner-city youth as a teacher for SPNN, to honoring artists visions as a film producer, Erika’s lived it all. Passing her wisdom onto others, Erika has coached countless founders, executives, and BIPOC social impact leaders looking to level up their careers and feel good while doing so.

As a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), Erika Backberg is who you call when you’re ready to stop postponing your health needs. Through routine telehealth calls from the privacy of your own home, Erika helps clients better understand their holistic health, nutrition, manage stress, reduce inflammation, untangle emotional eating, calm the mind, and create movement routines that match each individual’s unique needs and actually stick.
